Lilias Trotter Legacy is delighted to announce the publication of a premium hardcover edition of A Blossom in the Desert – available for purchase just in time for Christmas gifting.

A bit of background. Blossom was initially published in hardcover (2007), due to the generosity of donors who underwrote the cost of bringing Lilias’ s exquisite artwork to print: digitizing the original art from many sources, presenting the work in a beautiful design, and significantly defraying the high cost of publishing a hardcover book with full-color printing. The following eight printings have been published in softcover to make the book more affordable. But through the years, we have had numerous requests for a deluxe hardcover edition, and at last—for a limited time—we can offer the hardcover edition that many have requested.

A Blossom in the Desert is an excellent introduction to Lilias Trotter for those who have not yet met her. And it’s a treasured keepsake for those who already know and love her work. It’s the publication we consistently recommend as the best introduction to this remarkable woman.
